Aphelion Review

aphelion

Aphelion is a new sci-fi RPG on the indie market. My first thought about this game when I tried it was that it looked similar to some of the older Final Fantasy games. In Aphelion, your character starts out on an old Earth colony trying to stop the invading army. Your objective is to meet up with your team-mates and continue on.

The graphics here are pretty decent. You wander through the halls, etc and deal with quick cut scenes when there is an encounter.

The sound is quite good as well. Nice back ground music and sound effects.

My only problem with this game was the repetitive nature of the enemies. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a firm believer in building up those experience points but come on. Mix up the enemies just a wee bit. Other than that, this is truly an excellent game and I recommend it to one and all that like RPG’s. This one is getting a 4 out of 5 thumbs up from me.
