Purple Games proudly announce the forthcoming release of their new game, Relativity.

In Relativity you are an all-powerful god-type being intent on taking over the universe. Not only must you colonise and conquer planets for your followers, the Toodians, to inhabit but you must also help them decide what to build and invent; pilot their warships; and defend them from their arch enemies, the evil Squishians! And in a unique first for an Indie game, you must do all this in a world which obeys Einstein’s Theories of Relativity!

DON'T PANIC

While Relativity uses some pretty crazy physics concepts, you really don't need to understand them to play this game. Relativity’s exclusive physics model replicates the effects of Einstein’s Theories of Relativity and allows the player to visualise the effects on the Space/Time continuum. Throw in some interplanetary domination, strategic gameplay and some kick ass weapons that bend space and time and you’ve got yourself a humdinger of an all action strategy game!

With its full introduction and tutorial, including voiceover; a Campaign mode offering many hours of varied gameplay; and a single match mode providing unlimited gameplay possibilities, Relativity offers as much as many AAA titles at a fraction of the price.

Relativity is set to be released in Spring 2010 on Xbox Live Indie Games at just 240 mspoints ($3).
