Being named, Chris Unarmed, I very much expected the game to not be a shooter and was correct, but the shock was the dude, Chris had no arms! So Chris Unarmed (literally)!
Anyway, here's the story line:
"The world is in peril! Mango's monsters have spread chaos throughout the land, their happy exteriors disguising their sinister intent."
Right, with that in mind and the short tutorial under my belt, I was ready to kick some butt!

Chris Unarmed is your classic 2D platform game in which your only defence against your foe is your cunning and you have to make your way through the levels collecting what are I would assume to be Chris coins, as they have a picture of Chris' face on them.
I have to be honest, a few minutes in and I was finding it tough, but then I have never really had the patience for the sort of game, where you have to wait for the elevator to slowly come down, then jump on it and ride it up then jump off and fall down and start again! I'm more a give me a gun and let me shoot some stuff sort of guy.

The graphics are simple, yet crisp and I'm not allowed to say anything about the audio as that has yet to be completed for the final version, so I turned the volume off, so I wouldn't hear it.
However, having said all that I personally feel that Chris Unarmed as far as platformers of its type go to be a good game and I'm sure fans of the genre will have fun with it.

As far as a rating goes, I'll give it a ![]()
